Chevy Volt
There are many peculiar new cars coming out in these next few years but one of the most interesting one is the Chevy Volt. The Chevrolet Volt is the best car in terms of fuel efficiency.
This car has as rechargeable battery that can carry the car up to 40 miles without using a single drop of gas. That is more than the average U.S. citizen’s daily commute. After the battery runs out of charge a fuel efficient four cylinder engine kicks in extending the car's range until you can recharge the cartridge.
The Chevy Volt is planned to be released in November, 2010 as a 2011 model. It is not officially priced yet but GM officials are estimating that the Volt will cost around 35,000 dollars. The officials did mention that the buyers have to take into account the money they save with the fuel efficiency.
If you are looking for a fuel efficient car, make sure you give the Chevy Volt a good look before buying!
