Kobe vs. Lebron

Kobe vs. Lebron: The Great Debate

Coming into the new decade of 2K10 many people have been arguing over who is truly the better player between LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. After the Cleveland Cavaliers, Lebron's team, were eliminated from the Playoffs, many believed Kobe was the best. However, many also argue that Kobe's team is much better and Lebron doesn't have as much to work with.
Let's compare the two styles of play by Kobe and Lebron. Lebron plays a power forward, sort of down low and is aggressive with his movements often driving it to the hoop. Part of this is because he's bigger. Kobe uses more skill and agility often taking fade aways and uses his legs to power him above others. He plays a small forward out near the three point line. By the numbers, Kobe has had an average of 29 ppg (points per game) while Lebron has basically the same at 29.1, in the Playoffs this year. Lebron has a 9.30 average rpg (rebounds per game) while Kobe doesn't compare at 5.20, which actually isn't that bad considering his size and position. At assists per game, Kobe has 6.2 while Lebron has 7.6. Though these statistics favor Lebron, I have my mind set completely on Kobe. The man is just amazing. He is so coordinated and one of the best of all time. Take the Western Conference Finals for instance. While the Lakers were just barely winning in the final quarter by 2 points they sent Kobe in. Next thing you know, the Lakers have a lot of clearance space between them and the Suns after Kobe swished so many. Kobe is by far, in my opinion, more committed, athletic, agile, fast and dominant than Lebron. He is the best the game has ever seen, except for Jordan of course. And if all goes well he will lead the Lakers to their Finals victory.
