What Mrs. Dever Did Over the Summer
Mrs. Dever is the 6th Grade Language Arts teacher. We talked to her about what she did over the summer and these were some of her answers.
She first went to Canada and went to a camp. There were outdoor toilets and no running water or electricity. She went swimming and boating and had a great time.
Then she went to Kentucky later into the summer. She was visiting her family. She stayed at a hotel, where she swam, shopped and sewed with some friends.
While she was home, she would sew in a club, she liked to read and write, she liked going on walks, and she liked visiting her family.
One of the last things she did was go to Mount Pleasant with a friend. She went to a casino for the first time and she won a little cash!
The last thing she did was to get ready for her new class of 6th graders. She decorated her room for her classes. She did a great job too! That is what Mrs. Dever did over the summer. Now she is teaching and having fun.
