Emerson School, sadly, finished last at their local track meet at Whitmore Lake High School for the second time in a row. To add to that it was raining and there was a thunder delay. About ten minutes later, lightning was spotted. Though it was never officially canceled, after the coaches started leaving so did everyone else. As if things weren't bad enough, one of our runners, Alex V., dislocated his shoulder before running. Alex was one of our fastest runners and the champion of the Ann Arbor-Dexter run for his division. All in all i think it's safest to call it a day, and blame it on the weather.
