Ever since Friday, April 30th, Emerson had visitors from across the Atlantic Ocean. The students taking Spanish had been sending mail to their pen pals from Antequera, Spain. These pen pals are in high school. The Emerson students have been learning Spanish and the students from Spain have also been studying English. Each 7th and 8th grader taking Spanish had the opportunity to 'host' their pen pals for a week in their house. The exchange students did activities with the Spanish students all week. The students enjoyed their host families and had a blast at Emerson. We look forward to seeing them soon.
