Coco Chanel

The Little Black Dress was created in 1926 by Coco Chanel. She designed it because her fiance was in a car accident and died. She became very depressed and only wore black.
The little black dress that we think of today is very different than what Coco intended. Her intent was for the dress to be sleeveless, floor-length, it was to have movement, and was to be draped. There are many styles of The Little Black Dress But Coco only wanted one specific type.
Another thing that signified Chanel was how she that women's clothing was a "show". She thought that it was too much to wear, and it wasn't very appealing. So, she decided to take men's clothing, and make it more feminine, like making a black pant suit, but for women with a different cut.
Chanel No. 5 Perfume was the very first fragrance created for the Chanel brand. It is called No. 5 because there were five choices of scents and Coco choose the fifth one.
Chanel No. 5 is not the only scent of perfume that is part of the line of Chanel fragrance. There are many others such as Chance, No. 19, No. 22, COCO, Allure Homme, Pour Monsieur, and many others.
