Spain Captures Their 2nd Win in a Row in the Language Soccer Tournament

The famous Emerson Language Soccer Tournament happened on June 11th, and, of course, Senora Lopez, the middle school Spanish teacher, wanted nothing short of victory.
The players warmed up for about 5 minutes, all the Spaniards wearing red. Then they started the first game playing against Japanese, whom they dominated with a final score of 7-2. From there they faced the bigger Latin team. The game started with Spanish making the first goal. But Latin wasn't going down that easy. They scored a goal to tie things up. Spanish tried to push a win early but the goalie for Latin, Maceo, blocked several shots. Finally in the last minute, Spanish scored one to take the game. Senora Lopez had been saying to her students that she "didn't like to lose." Senora wasn't disapointed at all in the end. The final standings were, Spanish in 1st, Latin in 2nd , Japanese in third with a last minute goal in the second game, and French in last. Congratulations to the Spanish students, good job!
